30 Women in 30 Days – Day 10

…but would this make me look fat if I did it?

Women have the power to create their own experience.

Love and acceptance for ourselves frees us from the shackles that restrain our joy and confidence.

Stay fearless and fabulous!

Thank you all for your support and inspiring me with new ideas for the next 20 days.  I appreciate you for reading, commenting and liking my posts.

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 9

How many of us are really happy with our naked selves? When I look in the mirror I can drive myself insane with all the negativity that goes through my mind.  I can obsess about my appearance and all the real and imagined flaws from head to toe.  I’m not a bikini model and never have been.

I’m also not a barbie wanna-be.  I know I will never achieve perfection.  No anti-aging products,  diet pills, teeth whiteners or makeup will ever change the way I feel about myself.  I fix what I can, enhance what I want and embrace the rest because what’s on the inside counts more than what I see in the mirror.

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 8

I’ve always had a hard time opening up and letting people know me. It takes time to trust and to find the comfort level where I feel safe to share my most intimate thoughts and feelings.

I’m very good at hiding but I’m learning to put my real self out there.

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 7

When we stop trying to understand and accept people of different cultures, religions, genders and generations the results can be disastrous.  No matter who and where we are, we all smile in the same language.

“We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.”–Luciano de Crescenzo

We are all worthy of having joy in our life.

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 6

Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are and aren’t that you will truly succeed. – Unknown

Who doesn’t love sexy lingerie?

Corsets, bustiers, garter belts, stockings, satin gowns and robes…I love it all!

No fashion magazine will ever dictate what looks sexy and stylish on me.

IT’S TIME FOR SIZE DIVERSITY AND ACCEPTANCE IN THE MEDIA!

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 4

Everything about you has beauty…even your tears.

Tears pour out the feelings that words alone can’t express.

” There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief… and unspeakable love. “ -Washington Irving

“Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before–more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle.” – Charles Dickens, Great Expectation

30 Women in 30 Days – Day 3

Love your body for what it can do, not for how it looks.

Celebrating our physical strength is so important in realizing what makes each of us beautiful and unique.  We can’t all be ballerinas, body builders or yoga masters but we all have energy and the strength to accomplish amazing things.  Each of us can choose to channel our energy into nurturing our body and becoming more loving toward it.

Physical strength isn’t just for the young.

Tao is a yoga master, ballroom dancer, former actress and model and lover of wine. She is 93 years old.

Earnestine Shepherd is a 74 year old body builder.
She didn’t start working out until she was 54.

It pays to be fearless.
